12/4 LAB FINAL EXAM
The
labs are due at the end of the lab.
Pre-labs are due at the beginning of class BEFORE I start the
introduction of the lab. Two formal
labs reports, designated by ****** above, will be due two weeks after the
experiment has been performed. The
format of a formal lab report will be discussed in class and is discussed in
the requirements of this lab, and also in the lab manual.
The
FINAL EXAM will cover concepts and some hands-on procedures that have been used
in lab. The final exam will NOT be a
group effort.
Please
note that the schedule may change for a variety of reasons. Each week there will be an announcement
about the lab for the following week.
Please be sure to read the guidelines for the course and lab
policies. You are responsible for being
prepared when you arrive to lab.
Make-up labs must be arranged before the scheduled lab or within 24
hours after you missed a lab IN WRITING.
Otherwise, the grade for the missed lab will be given a zero.
PARTICIPATION:
Each student is expected to participate in the date collecting and
procedures. Groups may discuss the lab
and the questions, BUT each individual student must answer his/her own
questions. If a student does not
participate in performing the entire lab, the lab report will not be accepted
for a grade. Part of this participation
is bring materials for the lab, including the lab manual or handouts, to the
lab and being ready for class at the beginning of class. .
GUIDELINES:
1. All exams and written material must be
entirely your own work.
a.
Copying
ALL or PART of a published work without giving proper credit to the author is
considered plagiarizing and is not permitted in this course.
b.
Copying
ALL or PART of another students work is considered cheating and is not
permitted in this course. Material in
this course that must be done without assistance from another student includes
exams and lab reports. You will not be
given credit for labs you do not help performing.
Any violation of (a) or (b) will result in a grade
for that material of ZERO and will be reported to Student Affairs.
2. Respect
each other and yourself
3. If
possible, please put pagers and cell phones on vibrate or OFF.
4. Abide by
AASUs Code of Conduct and the Honor Code.
