The Physics program at Armstrong
Atlantic State University offers courses in Physical Science. Physical Science is a survey of the sciences that study the physical world. The areas of science included in the survey generally include Astronomy, Chemistry, Geology, Meteorology, Oceanography, and Physics. The Physical Science courses are lab science courses, and satisfy core course requirements in Core Area D. Students can also obtain a minor in Physical Science.
Minor in Physical Science
Students have the opportunity to minor in Physical Science. A Minor in Physical Science can be obtained by satisfying the following requirements:
- Six semester hours of lower division Chemistry, Physical Science, or Physics courses
- Nine semester hours of upper division courses selected from:
Core Physical Science Courses:
Advanced Physical Science Courses:
- There are no advanced physical science courses offered at this time.
