October 24, 2007 Planned a visit to the Kennedy Space Center on November 10.
"Spotlight On A Physicist" -- a look at Tim Berners-Lee, physicist at CERN and creator of the World Wide Web
September 19, 2007 Completed most of the SPS charter application process. Planned Celebrate AASU Day events. Discussed field trips to the Kennedy Space Center, the Savannah River National Lab and/or Fort Discovery science museum in Augusta.

Recap of April APS meeting in Jacksonville. Discussed PHYS 2900 physics research class for summer and continuing into the fall. Assembled a committee to work on the SPS charter. The Savannah River National Laboratory was discussed as a potential future field trip. Also, we may have a cook-out soon!
April 4, 2007 Looked at pictures from the National High Magnetic Field Lab visit. Discussed having a party, featuring a movie other than 'The Hitchiker's Guide to the Galaxy'. Discussed upcoming events for 2007, including the Benjamin Franklin exhibit in Atlant this Summer and Fall.
February 21, 2007 Made final plans for the National High Magnetic Field Lab visit. Discussed other upcoming events for 2007.
January 17, 2007 Welcomed new members. Discussed past events. Announced that we would visit the National High Magnetic Field Lab in Tallahassee, again.
November 8, 2007 Made final plans for the Herty Foundation visit. Talked about Celebrate AASU Day. Discussed the Physics Club's Constitution (which we found a copy). Discussed upcoming events for 2007.
October 11, 2006 Dr. Baird discussed the upcoming Bomb Squad demonstration, possibly in Forsythe, Georgia. Decided on a time that everyone is available to visit the Herty Foundation. Members expressed interest in visiting Gulf Stream and the Oglethorpe Speedway.
September 20, 2006 Discussed visiting the Herty Foundation and Celebrate AASU Day.
August 30, 2006 Selected officers. Discussed past events. Dr. Baird discussed upcoming Bomb Squad demonstration. Some members expressed interests in going to the NHMFL open house in Tallahassee again in February.
